Lecture 1: The objectives, the structure and the language of the NEC3 ECC
Presented by Terry Boxall
Getting familiar with the shape of this contract, how it is put together and even how it is expressed is the essential first task. We will look at the system of having main and secondary options and we will look at their content to see how, to some extent, the contract can be customised to the needs of a particular project. In this lecture we will also look closely at the content of Clause 1and the relationship of the core contract to the Contract Data.
