About Us

The Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month Celebration was created with a desire to educate and heighten awareness about our rich culture. As our population continues to grow at Clemson University, we are encouraged by our peers and the administration to create opportunities for all members of our campus community to celebrate and find value in the contributions of Hispanics and Latinos. Ultimately we hope to begin cultivating a true inclusive environment built upon a passion for learning and mutual respect.

Ayer, Hoy, y Mañana (Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow) is a phrase carved into the lives of every Hispanic and Latino. It represents and honors the work of our ancestors, embodies our current impact on the world and is a symbol of hope for the future. The events and activities planned throughout the month will embody this theme and give insight into the lives of Hispanics and Latinos at Clemson and beyond.
