TRU Law is getting together to fundraise for the BC Civil Liberties Association. The BCCLA was established in 1962 and the oldest and most active civil liberties group in Canada. They are funded by the Law Foundation of BC and by citizens who believe in what they do. Their mandate is to preserve, defend, maintain and extend civil liberties and human rights in Canada. The acheive that mandate through Advocacy in Action, Public Policy, Community Education and Justice Programs. The Dissent, a 5 peice cover band compiled of law students will be on stage that night.
