UK Art Lantern Festival (UKALF) will be the very first event in North West UK that celebrates the Chinese traditional lantern festival. This event will be held at Trafford Centre, Manchester between 5th February and 20th April 2016. The purpose of the Festival is to spread the blessing not only within China, but also the people in the UK.

Visitors will be able to travel through a wide range of lantern displays ranging from traditional Chinese lanterns depicting the terracotta army, flora and fauna and architectural displays to Disney characters displays and Great UK landmarks.

During the lantern festival, UKALF will hold special events, attracting artists to present their state-of-the-art performance. Visitors can watch Kong Fu shows and traditional acrobatics and also shop for gorgeous handicrafts and souvenirs.

Authentic and diverse Chinese Cuisine is offered in the festival, creating an incredibly food experience for visitors in the UK. Yang Sing Chinese Restaurant will serve exquisite Cantonese cuisine with the highest quality.

In addition to these exciting cultural shows, a lantern-DIY workshop will be built in the venue, allowing children and families to make their unique lanterns guided by the masters of crafts. People can share the happiness by placing the DIY lanterns on the Wishing Wall or taking it away to decorate their home.

UK art lantern festival offers a wide range of lantern displays, stage performance and workshops for people of all ages to get involved in. We believe that the exciting launch of UK art lantern festival will bring exotic culture feast to the UK. It is highly appreciated if you are interested in our Lantern Festival and hopefully create a mini documentary about our attractive lantern exhibitions.
