Larry played several shows in Quebec including Le Rodeo du Camion, Notre Dame du Nord (8 times), Kipawa Country Festival, Kipawa, Quebec, Rodeo Bonaventure, Quebec and was the opening act for Dennis DeYoung in Montreal at the Palais des Congrets in May 2011 for the Canadian Mining Show. Larry has also performed at many festivals including Boots and Hearts, Manitoulin Country Fest, Bolton Rib Fest, Country in the Woods, Calgary Stampede special event plus many more.
Larry has released 5 singles off his latest album RPM to country radio across Canada. His big accomplishment in 2010 was the release of his song Rock Town. The video was released on CMT across Canada for over 8 months. This song and video led to many shows including the CIM in Montreal, Nascar Race in Milwaukee and major video airplay in Indonesia on behalf of Redpath and Freeport mines.
Larry’s single “No Guts No Glory” hit airways across Canada in 2014 with a music video that featured extreme sports in Canada. This song led to a full sponsorship with OTSFF Marketing Group and RockStar Energy Drinks. The song was also featured as the theme song and video for the Canadian Motorcross Series and Snowcross Series for 2014- 2015.
Larry recently signed a deal with a major Quebec booking agent for a major Eastern Tour for 2015 to promote his latest singles and new album. “Aside from being a great live performer, we were blown away by his energy and his personality,” enthused Manzini. “And the fact that Larry is fluently French (real name Larry Barriault) helps us in the highly-competitive Quebec market.”
Plans are for Berrio to utilize this dazzling self-contained stage set-up when he heads out on a major 2018 touring schedule that will take him to several key country festivals and dealer-sponsored events.
As for “What A Ride” (co-written with guitarist Chris Syrie), Berrio is touting the single as the lead off track for a new EP which will be released early in the new year. “We are excited about our musical direction, it could be more blues oriented, I’m currently big on people like Colin James and John Mayer, I have his cd’s in my truck and I love playing the harmonica, that’s my instrument.”
Larry’s passion is to entertain and with his dynamic show you will be left on a high note after seeing him live.
