After receiving an emergency call during a fierce storm, Elias, a young rescue boat in a small village, bravely saves another boat and is promoted to chief rescue boat in a big city harbor, but he must leave all his friends behind. Although he makes new and interesting friends initially, he has to prove himself all over again before he gains the respect of others. However, when he uncovers a plot to mine an illegal precious metal that would affect the weather, Elias learns that what he needs most to expose the mining operation is the help of his old friends!
