Calling all horse lovers! Mika is a renowned horse whisperer living in Germany. She departs for Spain with her beloved black stallion, Windstorm, after she discovers the breed’s Spanish origins. While there she encounters an oasis of land where a large herd of wild horses roam, and she and Windstorm feel very much at home. Unfortunately, the land’s owner is forced to sell the property to a big company that covets its spring water, so Mika stages the revival of a once famous wild horse race in order to raise enough money to achieve heritage status and government protection for the sacred grounds. The two must not only prepare for the race, but they also must face the biggest decision in their lives. Age 7-18 ($10)
