We’re honoring the 75th anniversary of Make Way for Ducklings, Robert McCloskey’s beloved children’s book about a family of ducks living in the Boston Public Garden, with this program featuring an animated version of the book along with other Caldecott Medal winners that have been produced by Scholastic/Weston Woods Studios, including: Sylvester and the Magic Pebble by William Steig; Officer Buckle and Gloria by Peggy Rathmann, narrated by John Lithgow; Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears retold by Verna Aardema and narrated by James Earl Jones; Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak; and This is Not My Hat by Jon Klassen.
