What is Summer school?
CAPA College is proud to announce our first ever 4-day Summer
Take-Over, offering young people, aged 8-16, the opportunity to gain experience and training in all aspects of the theatre. This includes how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, fuelling yourself on a budget to sustain energy for dynamic, physical roles within the arts.
Dance Workshops – Commercial, Hip-Hop and Musical Theatre – Creative lessons where students can explore choreography ideas through modern day themes.
Drama Workshops – Working on confidence building using drama activities, including devising, directing ensemble theatre.
Singing Workshops – Expressing yourself through the power of song working on new and existing repertoire.
What to expect?
During the week participants will take part in Singing, dancing and drama masterclasses, with professional artists who have performed in the West End, World renowned cruises and international acclaimed tv and film productions. Students will work towards a performance sharing at the end of the week.
Students will also have the chance to learn about a healthy lifestyle, through guest talks and cookery workshops, fitness classes and mental wellbeing tom promote a happy healthier lifestyle.
