An evening of origonal films also featuring Amplify Film Makers Festival
Act 1
A bold, hybrid adaptation of Ken Kesey’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, blending live theatre with cinematic storytelling. Set in 1960s America, the story follows Randle McMurphy, a rebellious man with a criminal past who fakes insanity to escape a prison work farm. He is transferred to a mental institution, where he comes face-to-face with the coldly authoritarian Nurse Ratched. As McMurphy challenges her oppressive rule, a gripping battle of wills unfolds—exposing the human cost of institutional control.
Act 2
Totally Over You is a light-hearted comedy for teenagers that cleverly mocks the obsession with celebrity within contemporary culture.
The View Between Villages is an exploration of home, family and how someone defines themselves after life changing events. Set in the wake of the 2024 riots, a young woman struggles to walk the line between who she was and who she could be.
