‘Icarus’ choreographed by Southpaw Dance Company, performed by CAPA College. Including an impressively mythic set of wings, with blistering lifting and contact work, alongside Southpaw’s distinctive mix of intense physicality and narrative, Icarus is a dance theatre interpretation of the classic Greek myth. A hybrid of choreography and puppetry allows the audience to experience the tale of Icarus first hand, complete with 16-foot wings that enable Icarus to soar through the skies. Obsessed with the skies, we see Icarus in his quest to achieve flight. Using dance and the distinctive, highly physical language that Southpaw has become known for.

‘Run’ by Momentum Dance, follows a community immersed in conflict and turmoil. Influenced by the bravery of so many around the world, we see a group’s individual experiences as they face highs and lows on the path to a better life. With music from Miguel and an intense fusion of contemporary dance and commercial styles, a visceral, emotional story of sacrifice is told.

‘She’s Like the Wind’ by Momentum Dance is a stunning, powerful and emotive lyrical ensemble, set to the Patrick Swayze classic ballad. Beautiful relationships are explored through partner and tight ensemble work.
