Join us for the first Wakefield screening of 'Wait for Me' and artist Q&A in our art house cinema. 

 

'Wait for Me' is the story of Alison trapped in a life of crime but looking to escape. When she meets Sam, a damaged man with a troubled past, he opens Alison’s eyes to the fact that life can be a beautiful thing if you meet it halfway. They hit the road in search of the child she abandoned with her sister Karen. Plagued by regret Alison tries to reconnect with her childHer demons come back to haunt her, as pimp Max tracks them down. Alison realises she must confront Max to protect her family from the sins of her past. 

 

'Wait for Me' is an Old Hall Films Production. 

Old Hall Films is a film & television production company based in Manchester.  They make high quality content (films & TV series in scripted and documentary formats) aimed at national and international markets, imbued with a strong Northern work ethic and soul.

 

The film screening will be followed by a talk by the film's award winning director Keith Farrell (Best Director - MANIFF2023 (Manchester International Film Festival 2023) and Producer Thea Burrows (Cannes Lion Award Winner)
