   We loved the whole experience! We had dinner next door, then wandered over and checked out the building a bit. Thought is was cool that there was so much creative activity happening in one space. The lobby was set up nicely and we added our funeral songs to the list and we went in.

     What a pleasure to experience the talent of my friend Katie Mack in this interactive expression of how art helps us heal the wounds of loss. Big respect! It was captivating and fun and heartfelt. Was my first off Broadway show! So happy to support artistry in this way Bravo darling to you and your team for a great production and performance !❤️

 It was great to have Katie welcome us all in personally onstage and AMAZING that she remembered everyone's names! Felt very comfortable right away and excited for the show. Loved the show! From the concept to passion and playfulness and energy by the performer. I sat in wonder the whole time realizing the giant effort it takes to create such a powerful and memorable, as well as intimate show. Changed my life, and made me think of how I can embrace the internet more in my life

 #uglycry is honest, brave, and most importantly, unique. I love the Internet too.

   Powerful theatre - and the power of theatre! Katie Mack is a force of nature. A moving and generous immersive experience.

     Katie Mack is one to watch. She’s clever, funny and endearing. I enjoyed watching her break the rules of theatre and authenticially share her experience in a unique, connective way. Go see!

     Uglycry allowed me to know my grief for a loved one is unbearable but if I say their name and tell their stories , we can honor them forever.

   This show is beautiful, emotional, hilarious, wild, unexpected and truly unique and original. Loved every second.

  "#uglycry - grief hits different now" is impressive. The best type of interactive theatre - the audience is welcomed in - in a way that is engaging and not intimidating. Mack is a strong performer telling a personal story that is universal.

 A fun, devastating, beautiful, interactive experience. Katie Mack shines. I want to come see it again!

   Incredible production. Seamless across the board

 Katie Mack has changed the face of grief and loss forever. I am a forever fan. Her amazing one person immersive performance was groundbreaking and heartwarming. This is a masterpiece and a dear tribute to Eric. This is must see event. - P. Buchanan

   Laura is captivating in this show- she can move the air in the room. She makes you laugh, sings fun jingles, and also devastates you with the heartbreak in her story. This lady as RANGE! She carried us through her journey of love and divorce, deftly holding the attention of the entire audience for the entire show. Someone else book this amazing woman now!

   Poignant, honest, humorous, thoughtful look at a painful divorce. Endearing performance.

    #uglycry is a painfully honest look at the raw emotion of losing a loved one. Although Mack's relatable tale is told with bitter humor, her enthusiasm for storytelling captures the attention of the audience and speckles the venue with laughter. The set design is perfect, likewise for the sound engineering. With a twist, she uses cellphone technology and social media to effectively enhance her narrative. It's worth a good cry to remember you were/are not alone.

   So much energy and passion in the story. Engaging to participate with phones. Entertaining and thought provoking.

   very well done. She was exceptional.

   Excellent work by the actress! Hit on very important relationship dynamics between mothers & daughters as well as the difficult job of being a caregiver for aging parents, particularly when dementia & Alzheimers is involved and that shift in roles between parent & adult child. This would have been a great opportunity for a talk back with the audience.

   It was great, and the acting was wonderful.

   Most powerful one-person performance I’ve ever seen.

   The panel afterwards was very interesting, however it ran a little long and it was also hard to hear some of the individuals. Mics should have been passed. At the beginning of the panel audience members should have been told how long it was going to be so they could leave if they didn’t expect to sit for another 45 minutes.

   A very effective, if slightly updated and stylized version of the film. I laughed a lot as did everyone there.

   Wonderful performances and production. With such an intimate setting, it would have been nice if there was a "meet and greet" after the show. I understand that Covid concerns and mask requirements make this difficult.

     Thought the play was very well done and timely. Also appreciated the "talk back"!

   The quality of the work and the productions at Carnegie Stage is always top notch. It's always a pleasure to come to an event here as the restaurants in the area are so good- a good way to prep for a night of excellent theatre.

  The cast was excellent and the show reminded me a lot of the movie version with Leonardo DiCaprio.

    I was invited by a cast member. I enjoyed the production. You should look into doing Violet. I saw it at coastal Carolina college.

   The theater was a little smaller than expected, but the play itself was great and the actors and actresses did an excellent job also.

   Loved the play, very talented actors. Especially love the character of Myrtle

     This production of the classic play was very good. All the actors and dancers performed well. The stage crew and direction enhanced the performance. I really enjoyed the costumes.

   Not My Revolution was a very moving and poignant play. SO well acted, performed and produced, lighting and set design excellent. The idea that violent political unrest and war affects everyone is an important message. That it can and does discriminate against any class and social standing is another layer of poignancy, and, I think, victimizes women in particular. The message that "it can happen to me, too" is palpable and something most of us don't think about en

   Excellent play. Elizabeth's performance was outstanding. It is as if she went through the experience of displaced refugees.

       A confronting, honest, brave and all at once intriging piece about subjects rarely spoken of. Pascale is a warm and engaging performer who employs simple, yet effective storytelling techniques to tell her story. Her only set and prop item - a stool, which she transforms into what she needs to transport us to different places and times. As she peels off layers of black clothing we feel she is revealing her soul - her innermost self to us. A cello punctuates moments of change

     ( have seen live comedy as part of an audience only once before and was curious about the event. I'm glad I attended Comedy on Strike but was only mildly entertained. Some of the comedians were better than others, but the skit with the emcee got stale fast.

   Show started late which was no problem. Enjoyed all comedy acts. Would like to see more of this type of entertainment offered.

   Mark C Thompson is masterful

   Genuinely enjoyed. His skill is a given; Mark's generosity of spirit comes through the moments of anxiety. Found myself doing soul-searching out of the events on stage. Thank you.

   If this was the first performance I had seen here I would most likely not return. I felt it was a bit too autobiographical.

   I thought the actress was great but I could only hear about one-third of the script. Maybe I'm getting hard of hearing but I couldn't hear much of what she was saying.

   Loved the guitar and drum players… comedians… mmm maybe we needed to drink a lot more….

   Really enjoyed this event. Would appreciate seeing similar programs and comedy shows. We could all use a good laugh!!!!

   Does not even deserve one star. Terrible, terrible. Not funny. Nobody was laughing. I was embarrassed for David and his crew. He's been around some of the best comedians in the country. How could he possibly think this was funny? We went because we've been to so many of his fundraiser shows over the years and were looking forward to something a little bit risque. Absolutely terrible David.

   The cookie was good. The Jewish song at the beginning and female artist were also quite good, otherwise not so much

   Totally misrepresented. Nothing to do with Disney. Worse, the performers were terrible. The sound system was terrible. The lighting was terrible. Can’t believe they had the nerve to ask for tips after each act. You should be ashamed of yourself for hosting such a no talent group.

   I thoroughly enjoyed the event. In particular, I found comedian Olivia LeSuer to be particularly refreshing and entertaining. I enjoyed her unassuming, insightful, wickedly sarcastic sense of humor.

   LOVED IT!!! such a fun experience and night out

         It takes a special kind of actor to keep an audience interested in a story when they are playing all the parts. Mark has an effortless way of transitioning from narrator to voicing all of the characters, that keeps the story moving but doesn’t let it get confusing or feel rushed. It’s great to watch an actor that is so good at his craft. Came for the redemption story. Stayed for the brilliant acting. Great job Mark Coffin!

   This was BRILLIANT! Mark Coffin captured the spirit of Christmas in a delightful way. You'll laugh, think, be entertained and keep Christmas in your heart after seeing this MASTERFUL production. Mr. Coffin is a wonder! So well done, I can't keep from smiling! Can't believe one actor did ALL that and so well! BRAVO!!!
