 I did not meet the cast or crew but if the front desk workers were part of the company, they were very nice and friendly.

   Wonderful production. My first off-Broadway experience. Enjoyed it thoroughly. I especially liked the song and dance numbers.

 Very professionally done, each department lighting, sound, acting, directing was thoughtfully and meticulously done.

 Such a nice space! Nice lobby space and perfect little black box theater space.

   The space is very nice. I could have just used some concessions (water, drinks) before the play, but there were none. Other than that - great theater.

 The production company was extremely professional and responsive from time of the ticket purchase to check-in of the production. I also appreciated an email update before the show.

   We loved the whole experience! We had dinner next door, then wandered over and checked out the building a bit. Thought is was cool that there was so much creative activity happening in one space. The lobby was set up nicely and we added our funeral songs to the list and we went in.

     What a pleasure to experience the talent of my friend Katie Mack in this interactive expression of how art helps us heal the wounds of loss. Big respect! It was captivating and fun and heartfelt. Was my first off Broadway show! So happy to support artistry in this way Bravo darling to you and your team for a great production and performance !❤️

   We loved this performance - dark as it the story was - the actors were captivating and the small venue put the audience right in the action. Well done!

 This show was very powerful. It did such a great job of showing how cyclical generational trauma is. Beautifully done.

   This is an Amazing play! It is a bit eerie, but you just cannot look away. Everything from the acting to the lights is superbly done. And I think everyone can recognize the cyclical nature of family dynamics even if the actual story is different than your family's. Gripping and mesmerizing!

 Tin Church was EXCELLENT! The whole production was so well balanced. The staging, the simple yet very useful set, the incredible actors, and the well written script all blended and flowed beautifully. The characters came to life from the moment they stepped on the stage. I was so impressed with the production for a preview night. I felt the music was a bit loud, but I'm sensitive to loud music. The audiences are in for a real treat of storytelling and wonder.

 It was great to have Katie welcome us all in personally onstage and AMAZING that she remembered everyone's names! Felt very comfortable right away and excited for the show. Loved the show! From the concept to passion and playfulness and energy by the performer. I sat in wonder the whole time realizing the giant effort it takes to create such a powerful and memorable, as well as intimate show. Changed my life, and made me think of how I can embrace the internet more in my life

 #uglycry is honest, brave, and most importantly, unique. I love the Internet too.

   Powerful theatre - and the power of theatre! Katie Mack is a force of nature. A moving and generous immersive experience.

     Katie Mack is one to watch. She’s clever, funny and endearing. I enjoyed watching her break the rules of theatre and authenticially share her experience in a unique, connective way. Go see!

     Uglycry allowed me to know my grief for a loved one is unbearable but if I say their name and tell their stories , we can honor them forever.

   This show is beautiful, emotional, hilarious, wild, unexpected and truly unique and original. Loved every second.

  "#uglycry - grief hits different now" is impressive. The best type of interactive theatre - the audience is welcomed in - in a way that is engaging and not intimidating. Mack is a strong performer telling a personal story that is universal.

 A fun, devastating, beautiful, interactive experience. Katie Mack shines. I want to come see it again!

   Incredible production. Seamless across the board

 Katie Mack has changed the face of grief and loss forever. I am a forever fan. Her amazing one person immersive performance was groundbreaking and heartwarming. This is a masterpiece and a dear tribute to Eric. This is must see event. - P. Buchanan

   Laura is captivating in this show- she can move the air in the room. She makes you laugh, sings fun jingles, and also devastates you with the heartbreak in her story. This lady as RANGE! She carried us through her journey of love and divorce, deftly holding the attention of the entire audience for the entire show. Someone else book this amazing woman now!

   Poignant, honest, humorous, thoughtful look at a painful divorce. Endearing performance.

   Mack was fantastic! I was so moved by her show ... I definitely cried more than once!

    #uglycry is a painfully honest look at the raw emotion of losing a loved one. Although Mack's relatable tale is told with bitter humor, her enthusiasm for storytelling captures the attention of the audience and speckles the venue with laughter. The set design is perfect, likewise for the sound engineering. With a twist, she uses cellphone technology and social media to effectively enhance her narrative. It's worth a good cry to remember you were/are not alone.

   So much energy and passion in the story. Engaging to participate with phones. Entertaining and thought provoking.

   very well done. She was exceptional.

   Excellent work by the actress! Hit on very important relationship dynamics between mothers & daughters as well as the difficult job of being a caregiver for aging parents, particularly when dementia & Alzheimers is involved and that shift in roles between parent & adult child. This would have been a great opportunity for a talk back with the audience.

   It was great, and the acting was wonderful.

   Most powerful one-person performance I’ve ever seen.

   The panel afterwards was very interesting, however it ran a little long and it was also hard to hear some of the individuals. Mics should have been passed. At the beginning of the panel audience members should have been told how long it was going to be so they could leave if they didn’t expect to sit for another 45 minutes.

   A very effective, if slightly updated and stylized version of the film. I laughed a lot as did everyone there.

     Best show I have seen lately

   Wonderful performances and production. With such an intimate setting, it would have been nice if there was a "meet and greet" after the show. I understand that Covid concerns and mask requirements make this difficult.

     Thought the play was very well done and timely. Also appreciated the "talk back"!

   The quality of the work and the productions at Carnegie Stage is always top notch. It's always a pleasure to come to an event here as the restaurants in the area are so good- a good way to prep for a night of excellent theatre.

  The cast was excellent and the show reminded me a lot of the movie version with Leonardo DiCaprio.

    I was invited by a cast member. I enjoyed the production. You should look into doing Violet. I saw it at coastal Carolina college.

   The theater was a little smaller than expected, but the play itself was great and the actors and actresses did an excellent job also.

   Loved the play, very talented actors. Especially love the character of Myrtle

     This production of the classic play was very good. All the actors and dancers performed well. The stage crew and direction enhanced the performance. I really enjoyed the costumes.
