This event is designed as a welcoming retreat-style experience, centering comraderie and unity for a charitable cause.
Throughout the day, we’ll share comforting Sudanese food catered by Katkootas Samboosa, a film screening, and take part in games, icebreakers, and group activities to get to know one another!
Whether you’re coming from Chicago, Milwaukee, or beyond; this is a space to connect across state lines and build meaningful relationships with friends old + new.
The day will be a mix of reflection and lighthearted moments — a chance to reset, be in community, and celebrate culture, community, and new beginnings together. :)
All profits will go to GCSAA, the Greater Chicago Sudanese American Association.
