You are registering for the online Johnny Run. This qualifies you to compete for the 4th and 5th place prizes, as well as the Captain Jack costume prize. This does NOT qualify you for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes available to in-person contestants.
The Gist:
Record yourself, or have a friend record you doing your best impersonation of Captain Jack Sparrow’s iconic run. Upload your video to one of the link we send after registration. Your upload will only be accepted if it matches the registered person(s).
Winners are as determined below:
1st Place: Most accurate impersonation of Captain Jack Sparrow’s iconic running style.
2nd Place: Crowd Favorite. (Awarded by applause-vote)
3rd Place: Fastest course completion time.
4th Place: Most popular online submission.
5th Place: Second most popular online submission.
Amazon gift cards: Most authentic Captain Jack Sparrow costume. (One awarded to an in-person contestant and the other awarded to an online contestant.)
Note: 1st, 4th and 5th place prizes are voted on by social media viewers and to be announced after a voting period of 7 days.
Official Rules (subject to change or amendment)
The registered individual must be the one running. Only one entry per registration. The video may be taken at any safe location or setting and from any angle. Video must be no more than 30 seconds in length. Contestants may choose to run in groups of other registered individuals. A costume is NOT required to compete in the run but MUST be worn to be considered for the Amazon gift card. Contestants MAY enter for both the in-person and online events. Videos must be uploaded by 11:59pm EST on August 6th, 2022. The top 10 submissions will be posted on all Collins Farm LLC's social media platforms. Viewers will have 7 days to vote for their favorite Johnny Runner. Uploads that do not make the top 10 may or may not still be used in future marketing campains, status updates, or other purposes as deemed appropriate by Collins Farm LLC.

By registering for this event, I know that participating in the Johnny Run is a potentially hazardous activity and I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I acknowledge and assume any and all risks associated with this event including, but not limited to, bodily injury, fatigue, general discomfort, trips, falls, and injury to property. Knowing and appreciating these risks and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, representatives or anyone else claiming on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release, and discharge Collins Farm LLC, its volunteers, and sponsors, and anyone else acting for or on behalf Collins Farm LLC or Johnny Run from any and all claims of liability for death, personal injury, or damage of any kind arising out of my participation in this run. This Acknowledgement of Risk and Waiver of Liability extends to all claims of every kind whatsoever. I also consent to emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness. I grant full permission to Collins Farm LLC and/or any person or entity authorized by it to use my name, age, date of birth, finish place and finish time in the public domain. I further grant full permission for Collins Farm LLC to use any photographs, recordings, or any other record of this event for any purpose.
