wOmXn Fest is an immersive, full-day of nothing-but-womxn artists: 30 original musical acts, performing back-to-back on 2 stages, and 6 visual artists displayed all around you.
They have all been given the theme "The real story of womxn today".
wOmXn Fest is a place where wOmXn can learn different ways to fight against the patriarchy, be inspired by fighters using whatever tools they have, and take not only helpful zines and freebies home with them, but also a newfound sisterhood. Men are encouraged to attend, but not to take the gifts which are meant for womxn. It is a place where womxn artists are not valued or praised for their beauty, but for the boldness and relevance of their message.
Crass Lips Records, wOmXn-owned and operated, is ecstatic to present a Festival at Art Basel Miami that is not reliant on the space, funds, talent, reputation, work, organization, products or narrative of men. They can assure you that 100% of the proceeds go to all of the incredible wOmXn coming from far and wide to participate in this fest, and no one but them.
