We're super excited to partner with Mare Island Brewing Co. Coal Shed Brewery for a fun-filled day of awesome craft beer and world-class stand-up comedy on historic Mare Island. Gather up your friends and be a part of an awesome day of delicious craft beer and huge laughs right there on the Napa River!
The Mare Island Naval Shipyard was the first United States Navy base established on the Pacific Ocean. It is located 25 miles northeast of San Francisco in Vallejo, California. The Napa River goes through the Mare Island Strait and separates the peninsula shipyard from the main portion of the city of Vallejo. It was registered as a California Historical Landmark in 1960 and parts of it were declared a National Historic Landmark District in 1975.
Nine historic Coal Sheds sit prominently on the waterfront of Mare Island. Converted from their original role of providing coal for the steam ships of the Naval Base, the Coal Sheds now house artists, speaker manufacturers, Renaissance faire producers, welders … and the Mare Island Brewing Co.

Get settled in, set up your seats...choose your delicious beer, enjoy music by DJ Takeshi, and get ready for deep belly laughs!
First Comedy Show - 1:00PM - 2:00PM
Comedy Stretch!
From 2:00PM - 2:30PM it's the 'Comedy Stretch.' Your belly and cheeks have had a laughin' workout... so much like the famous seventh-inning stretch in baseball, fans can stand up and stretch out their arms and legs, walk around.... get a snack, more brews, mingle with friends or just relax and take in the gorgeous views of the Mare Island waterfront, and the Napa River.
Second Comedy Show - 2:30PM - 3:30PM
When the second show ends, guests are invited to finish up their beverages, soak up a little more of the gorgeous sun, plus, it'll be a great time for photo opportunities with the comedians! #comedyhops #mibc
