Tucked away in the hipster-laden streets of Silverlake's Eastside is a quaint little joint that's making big waves. Almost dead center between LA's captivating Griffith Park Observatory and the famed Dodger Stadium, lies the new heart of music. The Lyric Hyperion is a "black box of magic" and it's where your favorite musicians come to play.

Danielle Taylor loves music and the thrill of a great performance so much, that she's convinced the LH (Lyric Hyperion) to let her steal the night away. And to make a great thing even better, she's convinced Lydia Rene to join her!! If you don't know who Lydia Rene is - you're about to find out!!

Not only is she a fantastical ball of bright love and sunshine, she's also a classically-trained pianist and accomplished musician. Lydia René’s sound is best described as “indie, vibrant soul”. With influences ranging from Jill Scott and Phyllis Hyman to James Taylor and Carole King, Lydia’s blended sound will take audiences to a higher musical plateau. She has shared the stage with many award-winning artists such as Eric Roberson, Jean Baylor, Jaguar Wright, and Wayna. Lydia has performed at the Taste Of Soul Family Festival (which draws a crowd of over 250,000) along with other performers such as Tyrese, Syleena Johnson, Tank, and Raheem Devaughn. More recently Lydia had the opportunity to sing a soul stirring rendition of "I Put A Spell On You" for the movie trailer campaign for the box office hit "The Perfect Guy" as well as sing for the hit TV Show EMPIRE on FOX. Currently she is the featured vocalist in CHOBANI Yogurt National Commercial Campaign. Her debut album "Vintage Heart" has received great acclaim from music publications including SoulTrain, Philadelphia Weekly & SoulBounce.  While Lydia René continues to build upon her ever-growing fan base, she hopes to one day reach the level of music’s greatest singer/songwriters and musicians.

----------------

For those of you unfamiliar with our host, Danielle Taylor, she's another wild one! Taylor is an Adult Contemporary/Pop artist who has been likened to both Adele and Sara Bareilles - though we think she has a sound all her own! Though her record, 1440, was recently released, it's already begun to catch fire. Her music is currently on SiriusXM Radio, her song RSVP is charting on the DRT Top 50 Pop Charts across the US, and she’s just signed an 850 station deal with iHeartRadio to have her latest single, Dead & Gone  played across the nation. She's opened for countless Grammy nominated/award winning artists like: Jonny Lang, Leon Russell, Marc Cohn, Lisa Loeb, Wilson Phillips, Marc Broussard, and many more. She tours year round, has been featured in magazines such as the Ventura County Star, Echo & Buzz, 360Magazine, The Young Folks, the Ramona Magazine for Girls, and most recently, was on the cover of Entrigue Magazine.

If that doesn't sound like an amazing lineup, we seriously don't know what does! These ladies are both forces to be reckoned with and are excited to perform for you! We hope you will join us for a night on the town and 'Music in the City.'
