Imagine Performing Arts presents its debut production, Dreams of Broadway from April 15 - 17, 2016 at the Wright Theatre at Mount Royal University. 27 performers and 31 hit Broadway songs from the last 80 years collide in this fast-paced two-act production that brings the world of musical theatre to life in new ways!
With a local cast aged 7 to … well, very experienced, the show is conceived, written and directed by veteran director Darryl Lindenbach along with choreographer Ashley Soles, musical director Colleen Lindenbach, arranger/bandleader Evan Cribb and show pianist Wilma Rothbauer. Backed by a live five-piece band of established local musicians, Dreams of Broadway is catchy, playful, emotional and energetic and this whirlwind show is sure to have audiences laughing, crying and dancing in their seats!
