It's July 1976 in the small Nova Scotia town, Antigonish, when Kit and Alice, teenagers with typical problems, decide to hitch-hike to Sydney to visit Alice's glamourous but unstable mother. Accompanied by a 70's soundtrack and shot in black and white, the film's off-beat sense of humour arises from the ways its characters express their love. These sweet weirdos are temporarily lost but they're about to help each other find out where they're headed.
