Cole is an average, run of the mill, Grade twelve student

approaching his last few months of high school when he losses everything - his only friend, his chance to get into University, and his sense of belonging. With only a few months left before he graduates, Cole looks to stand up for himself and start to take control of his life. Unfortunately, t

hrough the process, he makes mistake after mistakes until he hits rock bottom. At his lowest point he meets Samantha, and everything begins to change for Cole. Going on amazing adventures, meeting new people, and finding out who he really is - Cole sees a different side of high school he's been missing out on for years. Join Cole on his journey of self discovery, love, and lose.

Background:

Senior Year is a student led film with an original story written by three Collingwood area high school students - John Cardillo Jr., Zane Frantzen, and Benjamin Kent. With a wonderful cast made up of students from CCI, PRA, SCI, GBSS, and Jean Vanier; Senior Year is a film that brings high school students from around the Collingwood/Wasaga Beach/Meaford area together to make the first movie of its kind. This production directly supports My Friend's House, a shelter for abused women and children, as all revenue made from Senior Year will be donated to help those in need with the goal of ending domestic violence. Senior Year is a film that everyone can relate to - whether you are currently in high school, graduated years ago, or are about to enter for your first time. Come see what the teenagers of Collingwood are capable of.
