BEBINGTON BITTERMEN

Bebington Bittermen started life as the all-male off-shoot of Creative Community Choir, forming in 2014. Seeking to refine the reaches of men's group singing, they explore a wide variety of blokesong, from swashbuckling shanties to tender love songs. Expect to hear songs by man bands such as Fisherman's Friends, The Undertones, The Beatles, Crosby Stills & Nash and Spooky Men's Chorale.

In their five years of singing together they have sung in concert halls, churches, pubs, on street corners and at both Liverpool Cathedrals. The Bittermen have performed twice at the invitation of BBC Showcase, including a Wolf Hall spectacular at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. They are a regular fixture at the annual 'Blokefest' residential weekend and hosted the event in Anglesey in 2017.

CHAPS CHOIR

Chaps Choir is a large male singing gang from London; say goodbye to the male voice choir most would recognise. The group has been sharing its joy-inducing, heart-string pulling repertoire to audiences since 2013. Prepare for pop re-hashes, snowy hunting calls, self-aware pirates and, well, lots of men singing ...

Through performing at major London venues & UK festivals, the choir has slowly built a name through its urbane entertaining presentation and unexpected repertoire choices. They've performed live on prime time TV, recorded at Abbey Road and been the subject of news articles exploring men's singing & male community. Chaps Choir is on a mission to bring the metropolitan singing chap into the choral melee and envisions a world were all chaps (and 'other' men) can find their singing voice.
