The high school play is on the horizon and the students are working hard to adapt a challenging dramatic piece of classic literature, Wuthering Heights. Students will be exploring the classic story with a focus on exposing the dangers of unhealthy relationships, domestic violence, classism, and prejudice. The production is most appropriate for those who are ages 15 and up.

Play description:

From his first mysterious appearance, the dark and brooding Heathcliff affects the lives of all around him. When his beloved Catherine marries another, his revenge is diabolical. Adapted from Emily Bronte’s classic work of fiction, Wuthering Heights explores the dangers of obsession, domestic violence, classism and prejudice. ISL’s performing arts students present a unique and powerful production exploring love and hate amidst a gothic backdrop complete with ghostly premonitions and the haunting consequences of revenge.

This production contains violence and mature language and is recommended to an audience of 15+.

Doors will open at 18.30. Tickets will also be available at the door.
