A musical about teens in love in the 50's! It's California 1959. The film starts with a holiday romance between Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson. When Sandy’s parents stay in the US rather than returning to Australia, the two are reunited at Rydell High. Whilst Danny is initially elated to see Sandy, her wholesome image is a problem with the image he has created for himself as a leather clad greaser.
