Host Bill Stone
John Brown
John Brown is a 34 year old tragically single comedian and podcast host from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. You can catch him weekly on his podcast “Brown Petri Dish” and see him perform live all over Northeast Ohio and most frequently at Funny Stop Comedy club in Cuyahoga Falls. His comedy style is often described as intellectual observational comedy. When not on stage he enjoys being paranoid about being murdered while hiking alone on the metro trails. He also enjoys convincing himself that the Browns are going to win the Super Bowl, and whatever QB they have is sure to be the next Tom Brady. If you’d like to track his misery during the football season and the offseason you can check out his Browns podcast “The Turn Around”.
Marty Drexler
Drexler is in his fifth year of teaching at Tuscarawas Central Catholic, and his 23rd year overall. In his spare time, he is a joke writer and performer of stand-up comedy. Ever since being voted class clown his senior year of high school, Drexler has been jotting down ideas for punchlines. He successfully self-published the "Almost Joke Book" (Vantage Press, 2009) and began preparing to try some of his jokes on stage.
Since the summer of 2010, he has been doing stand-up off and on at various bars and clubs in northeast Ohio, but mostly at Funny Stop Comedy Club where he is currently a finalist in their co-feature contest. In 2011, Marty won an amateur comedian contest at the Funny Stop. In February 2013, he made a live appearance on ABC's The View as a finalist in their search for America's funniest teacher. Marty will perform at 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the social area of Alley Cats Marketplace.
