One of the best productions I have ever seen, including Broadway. Acted with conviction and passion. Brilliant use is space and lighting. I was in tears at the end. Congratulations to Norman and his amazing cast and crew.

It was a great showing. A little distracted with someone using a machine that made noise throughout the entire shoeing. Maybe people who are on machines, may have a special seating to also be more comfortable for that person and others attending the shoeing. Thx

Absolutely stunning performance! The entire caste is amazing, and worked so well together that is was easy to imagine you were there with them. What a moving play! And the performance was, in my opinion, as good as any professional performance could be.

LCCT never fails to provide excellent productions and "The Diary of Anne Frank" was no exception. Cast was nothing short of perfection. Director, Norman Lewis, seems to excel at drawing out the best from each actor. Even the costumes! Overheard the group behind us speaking about the costumes. One lady said, "Look! The women are wearing hose that have a seam running the back of their legs, just like they wore in those days!"

Very moving, well-acted, effective and important play. Although all the actors were exceptional, Mia Berkson was outstanding in her portrayal of a role that ranged from care-free playful child to deeply perceptive young woman.

My friend and I were moved by the performance. I’ve read the book and watched the film presentation of this sad story. However, it was very emotional bei present while listening th all the sounds associated with the family’s situation, I cried. It was very moving. The set was done well too. Thank you for presenting this performance.

Lovely work and a total emotional explosion. As expected. PS: I think people on the wall seats on the left couldn't see the action in Anne's room and if you took down the coat hangers on the wall and put a mirror there, it would work. Might be too late for that though.

Extremely well done, soul stirring, and worth all 115 minutes! The young woman portraying Anne Frank is outstanding. I would encourage everyone to see this show to help them better understand how hate and fascism can permiate and subsequently destroy a society. A true and cautionary work with perfect timing. Thank you, LCCT.

We really enjoyed the 3-woman reading of letters between Georgia O’Keefe and her devoted talented assistant, as commented on by another NM luminary. What memorable egos and personalities. Before they passed, they all helped make NM esp. Santa Fe, g dr a powerhouse in the art world. Well produced as always at the LCCT.

Our expectations were admittedly high - Sound of Music was Broadway caliber theater, and we were primed for a similar experience with Sister Act. Alas, not to be . . . Delores is the anchor of the show and this actor simply didn't have the talent for that role. And she was flat!!! Speaking of flat, Sweatie Eddie was also flat but his performance was redeemed by a clever costume. the nuns chorus was excellent as was Curtis (?) the gangster. We left at intermission.

The actors put a lot of hard work into the performance. The solo singers throughout the play weren't always in key but obviously tried their best. The dialogue volume was vastly different from one actor to another to the point some of the dialogue was imperceptible. For whatever reason, the second half of the play was much more energetic and more enjoyable to watch.

Great fun, a showcase for local talent. Would suggest lowering the music soundtrack a bit so the singers can be heard better. Step Up in row J is dangerous. We saw two people fall. Usher said people have fallen there before. Should be fixed before there is a serious injury.

The best drama and best acting I have seen in years at LCCT. The acting was so even! Every character so well displayed. MR Lewis is an extraordinary director. I loved the set, and the movement between scenes was extraordinary. Also the music and marching and all the added sounds and lighting just made the production more gripping. Kudos to all.   The actors did a fine job of preforming this play. I think plays that are not really appealing to the larger community enjoyment are things that a small venue, such as LCCT, are better off not doing. The references were too obscure to be understood, therefore are not enjoyable to most. One critic I offer to the actors is to slow down, the lines fly by so quickly it is hard to follow.

Brilliant! Clever use of historic background and actual words of the three characters. The acting was from the heart: we sat in the front row, and Jefferson was actually crying when his past was displayed.

Expected it to be funnier. It was billed as a comedy.

Amazing script and acting by all three with special kudos to the portrayal of Charles Dickens. One negative comment - the banner hanging with “discord” from the Psalms in the Bible - can’t find it in the Psalms . . . pretty sure it’s from the Bible book of Proverbs🤔

Fabulous. A brilliant portrayal. Was inspired to go back home and research these figures. Thank you to the whole production and wonderful actors in our community.
