At Melanoma Uk it is their challenge and desire to give patients and their families much needed support during the very difficult times faced upon diagnosis. Patients, families, carers and clinicians are at the heart of their work. They are passionate about their work and will work tirelessly to get results.
As an ambassador for Melanoma UK, I take on the challenge of raising funds for them, to help them with their work. I have been an unfortunate victim of this disease. Apart from raising funds, I also want to raise awareness of the disease.
Cherish life is a foundation set up to help children & adults with disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health issues and the elderly.
We need as many teams of 6-10 people to raise enough money to build a sensory and day room to ensure our service users aren’t lonely & can take part in social activities that we all take for granted and Melanaoma UK want to raise awareness of the disease and promote being safe in the sun and raise funding to help patients and their families cope with the diagnosis and care.
The day will have a Grease Theme with a competition for the best dressed Team.
