My name is Julie and we raised £2,500 for Melanoma UK last year. This year, I want to make it bigger and better, with your help.
This is the website for the charity we are raising cash for. A totally worthy cause. Being a patient, I can appreciate the need to raise awareness of the nasty disease! I had never heard of Melanoma and I am happy to tell my story to anyone that asks and moreso to give support to anyone that needs it. I was diagnosed with Melanoma, which was a mole on my face in 2016. I was unfortunatley misdiagnosed twice before I was diagnosed and treated. I have since been clear, ahving 3 monthly checks. TOP TIPS FOR THE DAY
Team gazebo
- (For those who have entered as an individual, or as a smaller group,
email me @ juliea.spencer@hotmail.co.uk, as you may not need a gazebo
if added to a small team who has one.
- Chairs and anything else you may like to have in your gazebo, like water.
- We don't encourage drinking, but it's not a no.
- Dressed up teams will be rewarded!
- There will be a facepainter and hairstylist onsite from 10am.
I may need to take bookings if there is a lot of interest, so nobody looses out and no queing. I will update this, nearer the time. Watch this space.
- Change of clothes and a towel. You will get wet.
- I will be arranging a return coach from Blackpool to Fleetwood, for a small fee. Details of which will be to follow.
- There will be a cash BBQ
- Various stalls. Update to follow
- The bar will be open. Soft drinks and tea/coffee included
When you have purchased your tickets, I will make contact you via the email address you have provided. Iwill send you a fundraisers pack and be at your beck and call for any questions.

HERE ARE LAST YEARS WINNERS CELEBRATING
It was a fantastic day, despite the weather. This year we are doing it again for the same worthy cause and GILLIAN NUTTALL, the CEO of the Charity will also be taking part. Our winners last year were the lovely dental nurses from Ivory Dental Clinic. I called them the tooth fairies. They were fast and furious.
These girls intend to keep the throne, so who is up to give them a challenge?
