Join un on Wed. Nov 21st (the night before Thanksgiving) for an encore performance of the Aretha Franklin Tribute group, "Respect! A Tribute to the Queen of Soul". We had such strong feeback at our last Mr. J's performance that we HAD to do it again!
Opening for Respect! is Milwaukee's own, Barbara Stephan Band. The band's namesake, Barbara Stephan, is a talented songwriter and uplifting performing. This group will be doing a 1hr set of Barbara's original music which feartures Barbara on vocals and a star studded band of the best Milwaukee musicians. Barbara's music pulls inspirations from the great Motown and Stax performer of the 60's. Soulful, Funky, and inspirational. CD's of her Debut EP, The River will be for sale at the concert.
Last but certainly not last, the night will be rounded off with an afterparty with dancing from Milwaukee's favorite dance band, Platinum! Platinum is an 11 piece band in the flavor of Earth Wind and Fire. Platinum will feature multiple singers, a horn section, and special guest appearences performing songs by Jay-Z, Whitney Houston, Nelly, Usher, Earth Wind and Fire, and many more!
