About Us

Oasis Chamber Choir is an professional-caliber ensemble passionate about praising God through music, and taking a part of the great commission of spreading the Gospel. Founded in 2005, by Angelika Dyadchenko, the choir has since been enthusiastically performing in the local Sacramento community, throughout the states, as well as internationally.

In the summer of 2006, Oasis traveled to Russia for their first outreach. After spending 4 weeks in Russia and putting on over 20 concerts and services, the choir felt a special calling to dedicate their ministry to doing outreach & missionary work, singing and helping those in need. Since then, Oasis has combined their efforts with churches all around the world and toured the countries of Israel, Italy, Greece, Sprain, Russian, Ukraine, Portugal, Ossetia, Abkhazia; the states of Florida, Minnesota, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and throughout California.

To honor their exceptional musicality, Oasis Choir has been awarded the “Outstanding Contribution to the Arts” award by the Russian Consulate of the United States, and the "Artistic Engagement Award", from the California Legislature Assembly to their director.

Oasis Choir is often invited to sing at concerts, festivals, churches, conferences, missionary organizations. They have been privileged to be featured at events such as “Candlelight Processional” at Disneyland Resort in Los Angeles, National Anthem singers at the National Rugby Match, “Lights of Hope” at Sutter Hospital, “Yarmarka Festival”, “Emerald City Sing”- Choral Festival with Dr.Clausen in Seattle, WA , “Sunshine Brooks Theater” in San Diego, “Prayer for Israel” in San Francisco, CA, “Sun City Lincoln Hills”,  annual "Missionary Conferences" with PCSBA, just to name a few. One of the recent highlights, was being invited to record a song with Todd Smith, of “Selah”, and featured on his album “Insanity of God”.

Some of the best and most memorable moments of the choir has been serving individuals in desperate need, in the USA and beyond. Serving in men's and woman prison facilities in Russia, brothels for women in trafficking situations in Greece, drug-rehabilitation centers in Israel and USA, camps for underprivileged children in Israel, and orphanages and elderly homes for the disabled in Russia. Bringing light, hope, love, and a message of redemption to places such a this has brought both the audience and singers most indescribable joy!

Besides singing and doing missionary work, one of the major goals for the choir is to raise funds in support of missionaries, churches, and various charities through events, concerts, charitable banquets and dinners.  They often collaborate with other musical groups, professional organizations, and non-profit charities.  All Oasis Choir members and director are volunteers, who invest their time into singing for the glory of the God, with the goal of uniting with missionary organizations and churches to proclaim the Good News! The group of 18 singers are united from 9 different churches of the greater-Sacramento area.
