Learn How GIS Can Benefit Your Railroad

In response to a recognized need of short line railroads with which it is working, Global Information Systems LLC (GISLLC) is acting as a catalyst to offer a two day GIS Opportunities Workshop. This workshop, co-hosted by Anacostia Rail Holdings, will engage railroad professionals in examining numerous extremely beneficial railroad GIS use cases. These existing and planned GIS applications will be used to expand railroad management’s horizons regarding GIS potential opportunities within their railroads. Both GIS experts and several short line railroad professionals already utilizing GIS will serve as instructors. The event will be held January 30-31, 2019 in Overland Park, Kansas, at the National Academy of Railroad Sciences (NARS) at Johnson County Community College.

Conference Program

The conference program can be seen here.  A buffet lunch will be provided both days, as well as refreshments during morning and afternoon breaks.

Optional Dinner

On the evening of January 30, we are organizing dinner at (TBD).  This dinner is optional, and costs are not included in the registration fees.  It will be a great time to relax and connect with other attendees and speakers.
