What does RAVE I/M stand for?  It stands for-Relief After Violent Encounter Ionia/Montcalm

RAVE I/M HISTORY

In October of 1979 the original volunteers, numbering 18, attended the first orientation session to begin services to aid survivors of spousal abuse in Ionia and Montcalm counties.  What began as a crisis line answered by these dedicated volunteers in their own homes, has now grown into a multi-program, 501c (3) non-profit agency that has helped thousands of adults and children throughout our community. While many of the names and faces of these important people are lost and forgotten, their legacy still remains today…through YOU… our supporters!
