David Thomas was born and raised in the heart of hip-hop, the Bronx. David began dancing at the

young age of 4, imitating moves from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. In 2002, David formed his own

dance crew, WRT (We Run This). Through this team he trained dancers with complex choreography,

creative concepts, powerful themes, and unique musicality, bringing a fresh and authentic style to the

dance community. David began his professional dance and choreography career in 2008, working with

some of New York City's top choreographers including Luam, Rhapsody James, Luther Brown, Kelly

Peters, and Tavia & Tamara. He has performed and collaborated with major artists including Missy

Elliott and Day 26, worked with Bessie Award-winning Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca, and has

taught at dance studios across the globe. David continues to inspire young individuals through

movement, leaving a powerful legacy through dance and education.
