"Putting It Together" is a student conceived and performed musical revue discovering the magic of musical theatre after a season of silence. Produced as part of SGVMT's Broadway Locker program, this musical revue explores the themes of togetherness, resilience, keeping hope alive, and rediscovering the power of community through various songs, sketches, and dance. This production is performed completely by students from South Pasadena Middle School through a partnership with the South Pasadena Educational Foundation.
About SGVMT's Broadway Locker- this program was created as a tool to counter the effects that the continuous reduction of local arts education has had on our community and improve access to the Arts for all by solidifying our ties to the local community. The program serves to bridge a humanities gap across generations, promote neighborhood diversity and cultural equity. SGVMT's Broadway Locker is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Department of Arts and Culture, and also supported by the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (PSHA).
