This is your last chance to see Socastee's presentation of “Tracks.” A group of strangers meet in a dirty subway station. Soon they learn there is no way out, and the unfortunate truth is told to them. As the subway train finally approaches, they must decide whether to stay or to climb aboard to their next destination.
Produced by Farrah Beaudry and under the direction of Blayne Perry, the ensemble won the South Carolina Theatre Association High School Festival one act play competition. They are now eligible to travel to the southeastern theater division conference. Funds raised from this performance will be applied to these travel costs.
At the state level, John Junkins and Edisto French were selected as Best Supporting Actor, the cast won Best Ensemble and Best Technical Production, and Jada Simmons was selected as the All Star Cast Member. In the contemporary monologue individual competition, Grace Mauldin won first place. We are proud of our Brave Thespians for their performance at the state level.
