The Poetry Brothel Toronto Presents 'The Roaring Juice Shack"

An immersive literary cabaret set in a 1920's speakeasy with live poetry, performances, music, DJ's and immersive theatre.

Hailing originally from NYC by the Poetry Society of New York, the Poetry Brothel is making it's second appearance in Toronto.

WELCOME TO THE JUICE SHACK! IT IS ROARING. Where the giggle water is flowing and sweet and everyone is having an honest-to-God whoopee of a time. The best place to see a gal's gams in town. Listen here, the Madame of the night is the BIG CHEESE and she's hotsy totsy. Come get some juice because the shack is the most salacious, illustrious, temptatious and provocative CLUB IN TOWN for one night only!!!

SCHEDULE

Doors at 730.

Titania's Private VIP Salon 7:30-8:30

(an intimate experience including bubbly for VIP ticket holders)^

Cocktail hour until 8.

Live performances start at 830.

Intermission at 9:15.

Performances interspersed by private readings and cocktails until 10:45pm.*

DJ and dance party at 11pm.

DRESS CODE

Costumes vivaciously encouraged! Casual attire like jeans and a t-shirt are uninspired! Please dress to theme or in something semi-formal. How far you take it is up to you! Whether it's a flapper girl dress and a hat, or fedora and suspender's or something lavish with sequins is up to you.
