Based on the folk tale “The Little Red Hen” and traditional folk songs
A light-hearted, yet convicting, twist on the classic farm folk tale. A hard-working hen finds a grain of
wheat and wants to work together with her animal friends to grow the wheat and bake a loaf of bread to bring
to the Harvest Fair. The farmer’s daughter also desires to work with her siblings to produce something
special to share. Along the way, though, they both must deal with the failings of those they love and, in
themselves, learn to give out forgiveness and grace, and find what the Lord truly desires for them to bring.
