In this twist on a classic fairy tale, we meet Laralyn, a young lady who has lost both her parents, and her princess title. When invited to live with the royal family of a neighboring kingdom, she befriends, Prince Michael, who is under great pressure to marry a “real princess.” The king and queen have narrowed the field, and each princess is confident that she is the best choice for the position. To Prince Michael’s dismay,
they all seem a little…confused. Five princesses. Thirteen mattresses. One pea. Join us to find out what happens as we explore the question, “What does it take to be a child of the king?”
