“In the Frenchest part of French France, a humongously handsome Prince falls in love with the beautiful daughter of the merchant of Monsieur Bertrand. The evil Enchantress, Sybil hates all that is beautiful and so she turns the Prince into a hideous hairy Beast! Beauty is captured by the Beast and all looks like it’s going to be grossly grim and gruesomely ghastly. But there is something about the Beast that isn’t all bad. Will Beauty fall in love with him and break Sybil’s wicked spell? Will Dame Dominique Derriere and her son ‘Potty’ Pascal help save the day? Will it be the greatest love story ever told – or will it all end very unhappily?

Featuring a cast of incredibly talented professional actors, singers and musicians, Beauty and the Beast is a panto feast of musical and spectacular festive fun that you simply cannot afford to miss!”

Doors and Licensed Lounge Bar will open one hour prior to the start of the performance.

What is a Relaxed Performance?

A relaxed performance, put simply, is a performance that has been amended in such a way as to be sensitive to, and appreciative of, audience members who could otherwise struggle with the intensity of a regular performance. This includes, but is by no means limited to, any individuals on the autistic spectrum, those with learning disabilities and those with sensory and/or communication disorders who may find sitting in a busy, enclosed space distressing.

Commonly what you will find with a relaxed performance, is that the approach and atmosphere is much more casual and laid back. More specifically, the house lights tend to stay up, the sound level lowered and you are of course at liberty to leave the auditorium at any time should you so wish or require. Further to this, on the day of the relaxed performance, there will more often than not, be additional staff on hand to help seating and/or general navigation of the venue if necessary.

With all of the above said, these shows remain for everyone. All that we would ask, is for other audience members to please be mindful of it being a relaxed performance and the needs of others.

If you have any further questions or queries, please feel free to contact us (Box Office: 0121 296 9543) and our staff shall endeavour to help in any way we can.
