Sally Jenkins will be talking about the real-life inspiration behind her novel Little Museum of Hope and also about her long and winding journey to becoming a traditionally-published author.

This journey has taken her from the 1990s and winning prizes for letters published in women’s magazines, through articles, short stories, self-publishing, partnership publishing, achieving representation by a literary agent and then parting company with that agent, to being offered a three-book deal by Choc Lit, an imprint of Joffe Books and, following successful sales figures of those books, to signing a further two-book deal with Joffe. During the course of this journey, Sally will reveal her (tenuous!) connection to Richard Osman and his writing career.
