We all live.
We all die.
We all experience sickness in different ways; both directly and indirectly.
As a surgeon and a creative, in this workshop, I invite you to explore these topics through writing.
Exploring sickness, health and even death, we will examine a range of resources and then engage in the stories of our bodies.
Using a range of contemporary and historical literature, as well as props, participants will then complete writing exercises inspired by these tools.
This is a writing workshop for anyone who wants to write about the body (poetry or prose) in either fiction or creative non-fiction. It is suitable for anyone over the age of 11 (on account of workshop concepts - health, sickness, death).
