Sutton Coldfield's Musical Talent Competition
Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID has announced plans for the town’s first Month of Music during July 2017, featuring musical talent search 'Sutton Has Musical Talent' at the Town Hall during the day on July 15th.
Musicians of every genre and age, both soloists and groups will be shortlisted for this prestigious event, which is divided into age categories with fantastic prizes.
Mike Bushell, Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID manager, comments: “The BID has long had plans to create Sutton Coldfield’s very own music event and this year will see this dream finally realised!
“There is already a thriving live music scene here in the town centre and we’re looking forward to taking this to the next level throughout July with a month of non-stop celebrations.”
Month of Music will run throughout July with a series of musical festivities, pop up performances, shows and entertainment taking place in different locations across the town centre.
The celebration will also coincide with the popular Birmingham and Solihull Jazz Festival, which takes place from 14th – 23rd July 2017 and The Three Tuns annual music extravaganza Tuns Fest which will round off the town’s musical event on Saturday 29th July.
