To help you learn the skills you need for such subterfuge, we take you to 1939 in Paris. You have just secured a job bartending in the infamous L'Escadrille, nightclub of the WWI veteran pilot, Eugene Bullard. Bullard enjoys some notoriety around Paris. He is a boxer, vaudeville performer, jazz drummer, and entrepreneur. He owns and operates nightclubs and even owns an athletic club. However, as an African-American expat, Bullard is seen by the German agents who frequent his club as unimportant, not particularly clever, and they assume he is unable to speak German....
