Beloved for generations, Fiddler on the Roof is a timeless story of family, tradition, love, and change. Set in the small village of Anatevka, this Tony Award-winning musical follows Tevye and his family as they navigate a changing world while holding fast to the traditions that bind them together. Opening on Broadway in 1964, its universal themes struck such a powerful chord that it ran for a record-setting 3,242 performances. Featuring unforgettable favorites like “Tradition,” “Matchmaker,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” Fiddler on the Roof is a moving, joyful, and deeply human theatrical experience.

 

This production is directed by John Schultz, with music direction by Scott Brons, who will conduct a live 6-piece orchestra. Fiddler on the Roof is based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem by special permission of Arnold Perl. The book is by Joseph Stein with Music by Jerry Bock and Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. It was originally produced on the New York stage by Harold Prince and originally directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins.
