Accent theatre Reviews

Grateful to have experienced many shows at Accent Theatre and watching these actors/actress’s refine their skills and become excellent in acting singing, writing, directing and technical aspects of theatre

Very kind, fun games set up for the pre show, hard working actors and technical people, friendly staff in the canteen as well

We are so grateful for Accent Theatre and Director Tim for giving this opportunity to our local young people in a regional town.

 Excellent mo

 Excellent.

online booking fees very expensive. should be an option to pay cash at the door need to spread the seats out a little more

Fantastic group of professionals, working together to deliver a high caliber of performers.

 Easy and good information.

Great performance well done to all involved, especially the older cast members for guiding the younger ones to carry on & improvise when the background music stopped due to a tech problem. The way they continued was very classy

Microphones not working correctly but otherwise great

 Easy to book tickets.

worthy of broadway thoroughly captivated audience want an encore performance of the same show it was brilliant

Brilliant show of several heartfelt short stories about love hope loss and mental health, written and directed by the artists themselves. I really enjoyed the passionate acting, singing and the storyline’s in this one. Also thought it was innovative upon entry to involve the audience in games as they trickle in and wrapping that up into the beginning of the play.

Amazing work, all the actors were very immersed in their roles and I couldn’t take my eyes off them, the costumes and props were also good, only issue was the technical difficulties but honestly it was worth the wait

Had a great time, Tim was an excellent host. If allowed, would recommend doing 2 rounds at once and starting on time. Going 1.5hrs over time for trivia was a bit of a long haul, but still had fun! Will likely come back for future events.

We loved it! Such a moving and amazing show and such a talented cast! Thank you 😊

A touching and professionally performed show. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

Another brilliant performance, very very moving in parts. Well done to all involved.

Top notch direction by Tim Holstein & Cherie Treloar delivered crisp & compelling performances by Jaala Wootton, Gavin Bolderrow, Reuben Leslie & Chasca Thompson. I look forward to Accents next production.

Very funny, very good! Thank you!

Brilliant performances all round especially Spongebob & Sqidward. Well done everyone 👏

Quirky humour. Big personalities. Full of heart.

Incredibly funny - love the casting!

 Wonderful entertaining event

All of the youths performances were absolutely brilliant! Very talented team! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the show. Lots of laughs.

The kids looked like they were loving being in the production and the singing was great!

Show was fabulous- well done team!

It was a heartwarming show that put a smile on my face. Well done to the production team. Mufasa Rocked. I like to move it.

Absolutely wonderful! The whole experience was great - I especially loved JaM the live musicians 😍

Great cast and crew - great work!

Exceptional! Outstanding, the children were well rehearsed and understood their role, particularly when faced with unpredictable situations.

Amazing night, wonderful experience. Can’t wait until the next one 🙌🎉

We loved it! We went back for the 2nd show! We can't wait to see the next Show in 2024!

All kids did amazing job with support sound and stage support.

It was an ambitious project that would have perhaps benefitted from being in a venue which could offer better facilities for the performers and the audience. The problems with the sound marred the outstanding performances and sets and costumes.

It was great. A few issues with microphones made it hard to hear at times but overall it was entertaining.

well put together, kids did an awesome job!! a few technical issues and at one point the music drowned out the singing altogether. Fun show to watch.

What a fantastic show!! The actors were brilliant and the script was so funny

 Very enjoyable

could have been improved by better meal choices and liquor licence would have paid double the price would have added to the ambience lots of people missed out I suggest increase the price provide a meal and run 2 more shows as a shame to play only once The voices on the performers were amazing broadway quality

A great evening, story line interesting, performers knew their stuff. The only constructive comment I could make would be that the microphones could've been a tad lower as the softer voices were sometimes overpowered by the music. Catering superb, as were the mocktails! My table enjoyed the show to the Max.

 Fantastic night! Thank you!
