BRT - Burrows Real Talk
invites you to a very emotional prosttate cancer event.
Patrick Burrows will be discussing his latest journey after having cancer twice and the effects its had on myself and family members.
I had surgery two years ago and am still on hermone therapy which i have to stay on to block the cancer from spreading.
Not Been able to have sex anymore, I have to find other ways to satisfy myself and my wife and enjoy life a diffrent way.
Lots of men get mentally ill because they have no erection, or they might want to have children still.
Well I have good news because i have in a sex therapist to help us men on this event.Come a long and meet the professional sex therapist Lorraine Grover she will be discussing how to improve your sex life after prostate cancer treatment.
The next problem men have is they dont like to talk about their illness and show their emotions and feelings so I have decided to invite a married couple to discuss how prostate cancer have impacted their relationship and how they have over come some of the problems.
1-4 black men are high risk and 12,000 die each year, this is why this event is so important and why i need your support.
I will have my special guest and urolgist Johnathan Noels from barbados, he currently works at guys cancer departmenet. He did my surgery to remove my prostate. Come along and ask any questions , this is your chance to talk directly to the Urologist.
