Join us on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, for the Inaugural Cocktails and Country Roads Road Trip—a one-day journey from Atlanta to the Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville Tennessee, home of the legendary Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey.
We'll depart Atlanta at 8:00 a.m. sharp aboard a comfortable private motorcoach and return the same evening around 8:00 p.m., after a full day of Southern heritage, handcrafted spirits, and unforgettable stories.
This curated experience includes:
- Round-trip bus transportation
- A guided tour of the Uncle Nearest Distillery
- An expert-led whiskey tasting session
- A southern-style lunch at the distillery
- A possible meet-and-greet with Uncle Nearest founder and CEO, Fawn Weaver, depending on her availability
Fawn Weaver launched Uncle Nearest in July 2017 to honor Nathan “Nearest” Green, the first known African American master distiller—who also mentored Jack Daniel in the craft of whiskey making. This trip is a tribute to his legacy and a celebration of Black excellence in spirits and storytelling.
