 Enjoy being part of the group. Wish the committee chairs involved the committee members more for ideas, projects, etc. Planning could start in the summer even for some events (fall for spring, etc). There should be mandatory hours in order to sign up for field trip lottery (you could get “hours” from volunteering, donating, going to meetings, etc). Would encourage more participation all around and maybe prevent people from joining PTO just for field trips.

 I think they should skip the bounce obstacle course and instead pull the bleachers out to give the parents somewhere to sit in the gym. Then they could rope off a part for dancing (sort of like a vip area). And put all the activities on the first floor. And do anything you can to make the lines less for whatever you have (face painting, ballon artists). Instead of face painting, maybe glitter tattoos that only take 30-60 mins a kid or “tattoos” that could be applied quicker

How did you like the event?

 We weren’t aware of the balloon people or cafeteria having snacks or face painting we just saw everyone with them and figured it out but it had ended by then and we missed the face painting we didn’t know there was anything outside of the gym

 The kids had fun but there was a lot happening and the lines were very long . Perhaps having a a list where parents sign up and are texted instead of waiting in line would help alleviate the issue. (I also think this would encourage parents to supervise their kids.) Thanks for everything!
