In the 1960s and ‘70s, a cohort of young singer-songwriters congregated in Los Angeles, many living in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood, and many giving memorable performances at the Troubadour nightclub. The music of Joni Mitchell, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Mamas and the Papas, and more, changed popular music, and keeps us dreaming of California to this day.
