Banner Image:
This is the large image above. if you have a Marquee image format it to fit landscape with the following
Must be viewable at 72dpi
Maximum height of 500 pixels (px)
Maximum width of 1500 px
The banner can be turned into a slideshow:
Must be viewable at 72dpi
FIXED height of 500 pixels (px)
Maximum width of 1500 px
All slides MUST have equal dimensions
Alt text (required):
Visible only when a device cannot display an image. All images must include an alternate discription (alt-text) for people that are unable to see the image. This should be a literal description of what is happening in view of the image.
Image description:
Visible to all: Here is a good place to add all that flowery language you wanted to put in the alt text as well as the names of photographers, people in the photo, and name of dance, scene, just whatever you want to draw attention to in the image.
Text area Images:
Must be viewable at 72dpi
Must include Alt Text (See Above)
Minimum Width 200 pixels
Maximum Width 600 px (may scale down on smaller devices)
NO TEXT (logo's, titlecards, taglines should just be the image)

Alt description of that image must included or the image will not be posted.
for example: logos and performance pictures look great. text will be illegible on phones, tablets, and most any device where someone may buy a ticket so think pretty/provocative images to cover up bland copywriting.
Block and portrait images are best here as the text and images will align based on screen size. 200-400 pixels wide will work for most device sizes. Little to no text that is embeded in the image will be legible here. Witch is why this is called the text area
